Brendan Morawski, studio manager for TELEFUNKEN in South Windsor, CT and assistant recording/mixing engineer for Jungle City Studios and Oven Studios in New York City, visited the University of Hartford to give a comprehensive drum miking demonstration to our AES members.
The demonstration covered all aspects of tracking a full drum kit for a recording session, including proper setup and breakdown procedures and various ways in which to EQ, compress, and avoid phase issues during the tracking process.
